In short. Email michael.milstein10@gmail.com and tell us your macOS version and the app version (shown in Settings). Most problems with alerts come down to notification permissions or the Google connection, covered below.

Contact

Just In Time is made by Michael Milstein, an individual developer in Tel Aviv, Israel. Write to michael.milstein10@gmail.com with a question, a bug report, or a request about your data. Please include your macOS version, the app version from Settings, and what you expected to happen.

Email support

The button opens your mail app with those details laid out for you to fill in. Nothing is sent until you press send.

No alerts, or no sound

Open System Settings, then Notifications, then Just In Time, and check that notifications are allowed. Then open the app's Settings and check that the soft nudge and the full-screen block are switched on and that the sound you chose is not silent. Focus modes and Do Not Disturb can also hide notifications.

No meetings are showing

Open Settings and check that your Google account is connected and that the calendar you want is selected. Meetings you declined are shown but never alert. If the connection looks broken, disconnect your account in Settings and connect it again.

Sending a log file

If we ask for a log, open Settings and choose Open log file in the Diagnostics section, then attach the file to your email. The log records what the app did and when. It stays on your Mac unless you send it, and we delete a log you send within 30 days, as the Privacy Policy describes.

Removing your data

In Settings, Forget this account removes one connected account's data from your Mac, and Delete all data in the Privacy section removes everything. You can also revoke the app's access to your Google account at any time from your Google account's security settings. The Privacy Policy explains what is stored and for how long.
